The right attitude and ethics for those working from home

In school, we were always taught to work with the right attitude. In college, OJTs or On-the-job training were provided to expose students to the different industries that they could end up working for. It also prepares them for the world of employment because OJT programs are designed to provide students with the necessary experience and background, as well as first-hand experience on what it is like to work for a company. The training program is also designed to teach students the value of professionalism and ethics in the corporate world.

For some reason, people tend to forget about being professional or ethical, regardless if they are working for a company or working from home. If you really want to succeed in working from home or to make money writing, you need to have the right attitude. Unlike working for a company, you need to have a different thought process when you are working from home because you are relying on yourself to be productive, unless you have a project manager or you are working with a group of people. Discipline is the most important asset if you want to succeed because there are a lot of distractions when you are working from home that could prevent you from being productive.

When you are working at home, you are prone to procrastination. If you are disciplined enough, this will not be a major problem for you. If you are disciplined enough, you can set your own working hours. This will keep you focused for the next 8 to 10 hours, and people around you will know that you are on the clock. It is difficult to achieve discipline, especially at home, but it is not impossible. Just remember, that your success in working from home is the result of how disciplined you are.
